{"id":10073,"date":"2023-08-30T11:32:55","date_gmt":"2023-08-30T09:32:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bollettinodarte.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=10073"},"modified":"2023-11-07T13:50:22","modified_gmt":"2023-11-07T12:50:22","slug":"cristian-prati-loratorio-del-serraglio-a-san-secondo-parmense-riflessioni-novita-e-appunti-dal-restauro","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bollettinodarte.cultura.gov.it\/?page_id=10073","title":{"rendered":"Cristian Prati: L\u2019oratorio del Serraglio a San Secondo Parmense: riflessioni, novit\u00e0 e appunti dal restauro"},"content":{"rendered":"<div align=\"justify\">\n<p><strong>Estratto dal fascicolo 46 (aprile-giugno 2020)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il contributo, nel ripercorrere le principali vicende costruttive dell\u2019Oratorio del Serraglio a San Secondo Parmense\u00a0e del relativo straordinario apparato decorativo, opera di Ferdinando Galli Bibiena\u00a0(1657\u20131743) e Sebastiano Ricci (1659\u20131734),\u00a0intende\u00a0mettere in luce\u00a0una serie di considerazioni inedite emerse nel corso del recente cantiere di messa in sicurezza e restauro, condotto nell\u2019ambito di un pi\u00f9 ampio e complesso intervento conservativo dell\u2019Oratorio.\u00a0Grazie all\u2019installazione dei ponteggi e alla privilegiata vista ravvicinata del documento materiale, infatti, sono stati possibili una serie di accertamenti sino a ora non verificabili, o perlomeno non attestati nei precedenti cantieri.\u00a0Pur in assenza di nuove scoperte archivistiche, s\u2019intende porre in evidenza taluni aspetti finora marginalmente trattati dalla storiografia, dando altres\u00ec conto dei diversi interventi di restauro eseguiti nel corso del Novecento, purtroppo non sempre puntualmente documentati.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><strong>The Oratorio del Serraglio in San Secondo Parmense: reflections, news and observations on the restoration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The paper pieces together the main events during the construction of the Oratorio del Serraglio in San Secondo Parmense, with its extraordinary decoration by Ferdinando Galli Bibiena (1657\u20131743) and Sebastiano Ricci (1659\u20131734). It hopes to shed light on a series of as yet unpublished observations made during the recent restoration and consolidation, part of a broader and more complex operation to conserve the Oratory. Thanks to scaffolding it was possible to get a privileged close up view of the work. As a result it we could check things that had previously been left undocumented. Though there is no new archive evidence, the paper illustrates certain elements that have so far only marginally been treated in the past.
