Queste annotazioni cos\u00ec frequenti e cos\u00ec puntuali nella loro quotidianit\u00e0 costituiscono uno strumento utilissimo per seguire l&#8217;evoluzione della scuola &#8216;capitolina&#8217; nell&#8217;arco di pi\u00f9 di trent&#8217;anni, densi di profondi rivolgimenti politici e culturali. Dagli anni novanta del XVIII secolo in particolare, lo scultore \u00e8 attento a ricordare i temi cui si ispirano gli \u00abatti\u00bb da lui proposti ai giovani e con la cronaca del proprio impegno didattico offre un contributo prezioso per la ricostruzione del clima \u2018accademico&#8217; nella Roma di quei decenni, ancora oggi confusi tra anticipazioni e ritardi in reciproca accesa contrapposizione.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Vincenzo\u00a0Pacetti\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0Accademia\u00a0di\u00a0San\u00a0Luca <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In his two Giornali Vincenzo Pacetti records his activity as director and as a judge at Rome\u2019s Accademia del Nudo from 1781 to 1817, with particular diligence and pride. These notes, so assiduously and precisely observed with regard to everyday life, are an extremely useful tool for tracing the evolution of the \u201cscuola Capitolina\u201d over more than thirty years, a period characterized by profound political and cultural upheavals. From the 1790s on, in particular, the sculptor is careful to record the thematic inspiration of the \u201catti\u201d that he pro\u00adposed to the young artists.
