La sua avida attivit\u00e0 collezionistica in questo campo ne \u00e8 testimone: ben note sono ormai le complesse vicende del suo acquisto della raccolta di disegni del suo collega, lo scultore romano Bartolomeo Cavaceppi. Pacetti continu\u00f2 ad accrescere questa ricchissima collezione (di circa 7.300-8.000 fogli) con acquisti propri. Alla sua morte il complesso dei fogli pass\u00f2 in eredit\u00e0 a suo figlio Michelangelo, che li vendette ai Musei di Berlino, dove giunsero nel 1843. Essi costituiscono il nucleo pi\u00f9 grande ed importante della collezione di disegni italiani nel Kupferstichkabinett (museo di disegni e stampe) di Berlino. Tra questi disegni si trovano dieci fogli attribuiti a Vincenzo Pacetti. Mentre cinque di questi sono opere di studenti e altri artisti, solo cinque sono accettabili come opere della sua mano. Curiosamente, questi cinque disegni autografi di Vincenzo Pacetti sono copie \u2013 non dall\u2019antico o da sculture come ci si aspetterebbe considerando la sua professione e le sue varie attivit\u00e0, ma invece da dipinti oppure da disegni. Cos\u00ec testimoniano uno stretto legame con l\u2019Accademia di San Luca, un&#8217;istituzione che Pacetti aveva frequentato fin da giovane artista.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Vincenzo Pacetti draughtsman: the Berlin sheets<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p>Vincenzo Pacetti had a passion for drawings. He is well known as a collector of drawings, infamous especially for his somewhat mysterious acquisition of the collection brought together by his colleague, the Roman sculptor Bartolomo Cavaceppi. Pacetti continuously expanded this already considerably large collection (of about 7.300\u20138.000 sheets) with numerous of his own purchases. When he died, this legacy passed to his son Michelangelo, who sold the drawings collection to the Berlin Museums. The drawings from the Pacetti collection constitute the largest core group of the collection of Italian drawings in the Berlin Kupferstichkabinett (museum of prints and drawings). Among these drawings from the Pacetti collection, there are ten sheets attributed to Vincenzo Pacetti. While five of them probably are works by his students and another artist, we can identify five drawings as works by Vincenzo Pacetti himself. Curiously enough these drawings by Vincenzo Pacetti are copies \u2013 not after the antique or after sculptures, as we would expect considering his profession and his various activities in this field, but copied from paintings or drawings.
