Le ricerche condotte presso gli archivi del Comune di Roma hanno portato alla luce una cospicua quantit\u00e0 di materiale (quasi totalmente inedito) sull\u2019attivit\u00e0 progettuale di Adalberto Libera a Ostia Lido. Attraverso l\u2019esame della documentazione prodotta al Governatorato dalla Societ\u00e0 Immobiliare Tirrena \u00e8 stato possibile ricostruire le fasi cronologiche di costruzione e, soprattutto, l\u2019iter compositivo, delle palazzine gemelle realizzate sul viale della Vittoria e dei villini tipo A e\u00a0\u00a0tipo B eretti sul lungomare Duilio. Il confronto tra i numerosi elaborati grafici presenti nei fascicoli dimostra in effetti come l\u2019attuale\u00a0facies<\/em>\u00a0di queste architetture derivi da una serie di modifiche, anche sostanziali, della proposta iniziale, alcune delle quali eseguite in corso d\u2019opera.
\nNella relazione verranno inoltre presentati altri due progetti di Libera dei quali fino a oggi si ignorava l\u2019esistenza. Il primo \u00e8 quasi una curiosit\u00e0, perch\u00e9 risale al 1929 e riguarda la sopraelevazione e la modifica \u201cin stile\u201d dei prospetti di un villino preesistente. Il secondo, invece, \u00e8 relativo alla progettazione di un altro edificio per la Societ\u00e0 Immobiliare Tirrena, contemporaneo ai quattro effettivamente realizzati e che, sebbene venga approvato dalla Commissione Edilizia, rimane purtroppo solo sulla carta.<\/div>\n

Planning projects and designs by Adalberto Libera in the council archives<\/strong><\/p>\n

Analysis of documents in Rome City Council\u2019s\u00a0(Archivio Storico Capitolino<\/em>)\u00a0offices has brought to light a substantial amount of records about Adalberto Libera\u2019s plans for Ostia Lido, most of them as yet unpublished. Documents of the governing body of the Tirrena construction company have revealed the chronological phases of the construction of the twin blocks on Viale della Vittoria, and the type A and B townhouses built along the Duilio seafront. Most of all they unveil the various steps taken during their construction. When comparing the numerous site plans present in the folder it\u2019s clear that the present day appearance of the buildings is the result of a series of modifications, some major, to the original project, some of which were put in act as the building was going up.
\nThe paper covers a further two previously unknown of Libera\u2019s projects. The first is almost nothing more than a curiosity. It is dated 1929 and concerns the canted facade of a standing building and its modification \u201cin style\u201d. The second is a project for another building for the Tirrena construction company.
