Per una storia dei sistemi costruttivi e decorativi dal Medioevo al XIX secolo<\/em> (2011)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>differenza di quanto avviene per lo studio delle policromie e per l\u2019organizzazione delle botteghe professionali, manca ancora per il Friuli uno studio esaustivo sulla costruzione dei supporti delle sculture lignee. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 forse dovuto alla mancanza di trattatistica coeva ed alla scarsit\u00e0 di report analitici nelle relazioni di restauro.\u00a0\u00a0Eppure questo tema permette di affrontare problematiche molto interessanti che vanno dalla gestione dei boschi al trasporto e segagione dei tronchi; dai dazi ai marchi commerciali; dall\u2019organizzazione del lavoro nelle botteghe d\u2019intaglio alla tecnica esecutiva dei supporti nelle diverse epoche storiche. In Friuli Venezia Giulia inoltre tutte queste problematiche implicano anche il confronto e l\u2019ibridazione tra la tradizione nord e sud alpina. Questo studio, che analizza segnatamente i secoli XV e XVI, \u00e8 dunque una prima sistemazione dei dati, con l\u2019intento di fornire un punto di partenza a chi vorr\u00e0 continuare la ricerca.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Construction of Supports in Friulian Wood Sculptures of the Fifteenth and Sixteenth Centuries:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>a comparison of northern and sub\u2013Alpine examples<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unlike the study of polychromy and research about the organization of professional workshops, an exhaustive study is still lacking on the construction of Friulian supports for wood sculptures. This is perhaps due to the lack of contemporary treatises and the scarcity of analytical reporting in the restoration documentation. And yet this subject provides an opportunity to look into a series of very interesting problems, from the management of the forests to the cutting and transportation of the trunks; from customs duties and commercial marks to the organization of work in the wood carving workshops and the techniques used to make the supports during the different historical periods. In Friuli Venezia Giulia, in addition to all these issues, there is also the comparison and cross\u2013influences between the northern tradition and that of the southern Alpine region to be considered. This study, which specifically analyses the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, thus provides a first reorganization of the data and furnishes a point of departure for those who want to continue the research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Estratto dal volume speciale Scultura lignea.
