Storia e restauro della Sala e delle Collezioni<\/em> (2013)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Il saggio descrive come il Gabinetto delle medaglie o Medagliere Reale\u00a0si inserisca, dal punto di vista documentario, nel complesso apparato istituzionale e amministrativo in cui era organizzata la Corte sabauda a seguito della creazione dell\u2019Azienda Generale della Real Casa (1817), nata per rendere pi\u00f9 agevole la gestione diretta delle residenze reali in ogni loro aspetto. Il direttore dei lavori\u00a0e autore dei progetti, Pelagio Palagio, aveva riunito intorno a s\u00e9 una nutrita schiera di artisti e artigiani. Con ciascuno di loro l\u2019Azienda Generale, su indicazione del maestro, stipulava un contratto, secondo precise procedure, per l\u2019esecuzione di lavori o per la fornitura di materiali. Nell\u2019articolo vengono esaminati, oltre ai fondi archivistici, alcune tipologie dei documenti pubblicati per esteso nella parte finale del volume.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<div align=\"center\"><em><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><strong>The Gabinetto delle medaglie in the Archival Documents<\/strong><\/div>\n<p align=\"justify\">The essay examines how, from a documentary point of view, the Medals Cabinet, also known as the Medagliere Reale, may be considered part of the complex institutional and administrative set\u2013up of the Savoy court, which was organised after the creation of the Azienda Generale della Real Casa (1817) \u2014 the General Company of the Royal Household. This company was instituted to facilitate direct management of the royal residences. The director of the works and principal designer, Pelagio Pelagi, gathered around himself a considerable group of artists and artisans. With each of these, the Company, under Pelagio Pelagi\u2019s direction, formalised a contract on the basis of precise standards for the execution of the works and the supply of materials.
