Dopo una puntualizzazione dei capisaldi documentari che riguardano l\u2019artista, vengono messe per la prima volta in luce alcune peculiarit\u00e0 tecniche della sua prima attivit\u00e0, come la pratica di riproporre medesimi soggetti in scale di grandezza anche molto diverse tra loro. Una modalit\u00e0 che verr\u00e0 poi riproposta anche per la realizzazione di\u00a0<em>Crocifissi\u00a0<\/em>lignei, la cui produzione era tanto celebre da diventare eponima dell&#8217;autore: a questo proposito vengono presentati tre esemplari del tutto inediti. Il contributo si chiude con una proposta attributiva a Terilli del gruppo scultoreo collocato sull\u2019altar maggiore del duomo di Spalato, consacrato a San Doimo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\"><strong>Francesco Terilli \u00abintagliador da Christi\u00bb between Venice and Dalmatia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This paper sums up Francesco Terilli\u2019s work as a wood carver. A new chronology is proposed for some little known or recently acquired works. Other important attributions are given, that extend his field of activity as far as the Dalmatian coast.The cornerstones of the documentary evidence concerning the artist are listed. For the first time certain peculiarities of his early work are illustrated. One of these was his practice of interpreting the same subject in a variety of scales, and in very different ways, one from the other. This was the case in his production of wooden\u00a0Crucifixes. These became so famous that they were eponymous with the artist.
